Out on the Town

These days we've been getting out more which makes mom a lot more sane. On days where the weather is beautiful we try to take a walk or get out of the house somehow. Last week I started going to a "baby boot camp" that a friend of mine Anna runs so I can work off some of that baby fat. It's really fun. We meet at a park and push our strollers around the park and stop at different stations doing all sorts of squats, lunges, and anything alse painful Anna can come up with. This is a picture of another mom and I at the park. Normally we're not smiling. :)
We were also able to pick up on our monthly T.T.O.W. get togethers with friends Matt and Jenn Berry. For those who can't read minds, T.T.O.W. stands for "Thai Tuesday on Wednesday." I know... obviously. The first Wed of every month we meet Matt and Jenn for some "tom ka gaa" soup at Olarn near their house. It's always really good. Unfortunately, this time we found three "tom ka hairs" in our soup. Yuck!

This week is Avery's seventh week of life. By now she is supposed to be starting to smile back at you when you smile at her, and her sleep patterns are supposed to be getting more organized (better naps and longer chunks of sleep at night). Unfortunately, Avery seems to have digressed when it comes to her sleeping habits. The schedule we've had her on so successfully is slowly dissintigrating. The smiles are starting to come though. Here is a video of her, not smiling, but still looking darn cute. :)
