It was great to see Katie and Ben. Avery smiled a record number of times for them even though she can't do it on cue. We can't wait until she smiles back on purpose! :)
Uncle Mark and Aunt Tammy stopped by after looking for wedding sites. Avery was a little tired from the visitors earlier, but of course was up for some more snuggle time. What a glutton! It was naptime before they left and Auntie Tammy put her to sleep for us. What a pro!
Our latest challenge is figuring out how to get Avery to enjoy her pre-bedtime bath. Everyone says they are supposed to relax your baby and get them ready to go to bed, but as you can see, little Avery doesn't quite agree. This photo was taken just before she tainted the water and we had to pull her out and stick her in the shower to decontaminate her. She likes showers much better.
