Avery loves her glider. We rock her in it before every nap and at bedtime to put her to sleep. We only have one more week or two of rocking her to sleep before she's mature enough to soothe herself to sleep regularly. It's kind of bittersweet. On one hand it'll be nice to not have to sit with her through every wake to sleep transition. On the other, we're really going to miss that guaranteed snuggle time... particularly the sweet times at 3 am when the rest of the world is quiet and it's just us two. Can't beat it.
Avery has recently found her tongue and is always sticking it out and blowing bubbles. She's starting to expand her vocabulary of noises too! If you ask her a question and pause a little, she'll make noises back at you and have a little "conversation." Here's a video of Dan trying to steal her tongue from her and her talking back.
