Today Avery got her first round of vaccinations. In reality, it was just one shot and one oral vaccine, but we were all really sad she had to get a shot. Here we are waiting for the nurse to prepare the shot:
In the end, Avery was much more tough than mommy or daddy. The nurse was a pro and it only lasted a fraction of a second. Avery was over it in a matter or seconds with a little cuddling. Here she is sporting her flashy band-aid the nurse gave her on her right leg:
I would say poor Mommy and Daddy! Usually a night after vaccination means a night of fever for Baby and Mom & Dad doing night duty caring for an unhappy Baby! Hope all was well Avery! I am having Avery withdrawal big time! How can I attend to Grandma duties when I'm so far away! You guys will just have to come this way - I have CENTRAL AIR! How is that for an incentive? love you
